International Seminar “Exploring Strategies for Social Empowerment Cooperation between Indonesia-Korea”
On March 30, 2017, INAKOS managed to host an international seminar on Exploring Strategies for Social Empowerment Cooperation between Indonesia-Korea. Held at the 3rd Floor of “Persatuan”, Notonagoro Building, Faculty of Philosophy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, this seminar invited speakers from both Indonesia dan Korea.
The president of INAKOS, Dr. Mukhtasar Syamsuddin, welcomed the audience with a welcoming remarks at around 9 in the morning, and followed by two Congratulatory Addresses by Mr. Park Byoung Yup (Chairman, The Korean Association of Yogyakarta) and by Mr. Kim Sang Kuk (President & CEO, Vitamin House, Inc. Korea) who has been a prominent sponsor of INAKOS endeavors. It has been a privilege for INAKOS to have a keynote speech by Dr. Kim, Young Me (Attache Labour and Education, Embassy of the Republic of Korea).
The ceremonial procession was also marked by a Welcoming Address and an Opening Speech by the rector of UGM, Prof. Ir. Dwikorita Karnawati, M.Sc.,Ph.D.
As for the presenters, INAKOS invited notable experts on Korea-Indonesia issues, among others: Prof. Dr. Mohtar
Masoed (International Relation Dept, UGM), Dr. Qodarian Pramukanto (Institut Pertanian Bogor), Prihantoro, M.A., (Universitas Diponegoro) and Prof. Dr. Yang Seung Yoon (Emeritus Professor, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies). Other presenters were Dr. Kang Jho-woong, Mr. Chang Young-min, Ms. Hwang Who-young (Korea Foundation Visiting Lecturer to Korean Language Department at UGM), Mr. K. Kridha Yudha (PT. ChangShin Reksa Jaya), Dr. Nur Aini (Department of History, UGM), Mr. Anang Sutrisno, and Ms. Donna Aisya Saraswati.
